BUDGET ORDINANCE IMPACT

Funds totaling $ 584,723.94 will cover the following existing County positions (salary/benefits): Program Manager, Community Navigator, Case Manager, Community Awareness & Outreach Specialist, Marketing & Special Events Coordinator, Trauma Therapist, two Victim Advocates and contracted services for Licensed Clinical Social Worker beginning October 1, 2022.

BACKGROUND

Governor’s Crime Commission (GCC) funds have decreased resulting in a shortage of salary funding for the new fiscal year beginning October 1, 2022. HUSN is requesting the County fund positions by appropriating fund balance.
