Donations and Sponsorships totaling $3,800 will be used to offset expense for the Cotton Ginning Days Festival.

BACKGROUND

Cotton Ginning Days is an annual festival sponsored by Gaston County Parks and Recreation and the Gaston Agricultural, Textile, Restoration Association (GAMTRA).  The 31^st Annual Festival will be held on October 12 - 14 this year.  Events at the festival include an engine show, entertainment, heritage arts demonstrations, arts and crafts, food, and children’s activities.  Parks and Recreation has received $3,800 in donations and sponsorships for the events.  The donations and sponsorships will be used to offset expenses for the event.
