BACKGROUND

At the Fire Commission Meeting on September 18th, 2025, Fire Chief Brent Gordon presented Certificate of Need 20259292-38 on behalf of Waco Fire Department for reimbursement for the purchase of flash upgrades for 35 radios to meet State TDMA requirement that went into effect 7/1/2025 in the amount of $18,659.90. Will Keller motioned to approve the Certificate of Need. The motion was seconded. by Jamie Ramsey. None opposed. The motion was passed unanimously (Smith, Weyeneth, Withers, Albaugh, Ramsey, Keller, Westbrook). This was submitted and approved by the Board of Commissioners on 10/28/2025, Board Action 2025-345.
