BACKGROUND

Gaston County Travel & Tourism was approached by Gaston County Parks and Recreation to assist with the cost of installing a 10,000 square foot Pumptrack at Poston Park. The pumptrack will accommodate 20-30 users at one time. The total cost of the project is $250,000, Parks and Recreation has $100,000 for the project and Travel & Tourism would contribute $150,000 from their Fund Balance to make up the difference. The actual build time is approximately 2 weeks.
