BACKGROUND
In June 2024, DHHS Adoption Promotion Program received $236,013 in additional Adoption Promotion Funds to be used exclusively to enhance the Adoption Program. The funds rolled into the fund balance on June 30, 2024 and need to be appropriated out of the General fund balance. Therefore, if approved, the Board Action accepts, and appropriates the $236,013 funds into the FY2025 Social Services budget in order to be expensed for the appropriate use. No County Funds Required.
