BACKGROUND

The North Carolina General Assembly has approved Disaster Rental Assistance funds to counties impacted by Hurricane Helene. Individuals and households who live in one of the disaster counties can apply for Disaster Rental Assistance. The households must have been impacted by Hurricane Helene, suffered a loss because of Hurricane Helene, and meet all eligibility criteria to receive disaster benefits.
