BACKGROUND

At its meeting on May 2, 2023, the Gaston County Fire Commission voted to approve the addition of a non-voting, ex-officio position on the Gaston County Fire Commission for the President of the Gaston County Fire Fighters Association.

This Board Action approves the request for this position for a term of one year, beginning July 1, 2023 and expiring June 30, 2024.  The Clerk to the Board of Commissioners is authorized to update the appointment records for the Gaston County Fire Commission and make the necessary notifications.
