BACKGROUND
Gaston County was appropriated $7,853,000 from the Drinking Water and Wastewater Reserve in the Other Projects Category for the Dallas-High Shoals Water Line Project (Project # SRP-D-ARP-0075). The project will install the infrastructure necessary to provide water service between the Town of Dallas and the City of High Shoals.
The Dallas-High Shoals Water Interconnect Project was publicly advertised, and bids were received and publicly opened on September 11, 2025. A total of 4 bidders submitted for Contract 3-Pump Station with the results listed below. Gilbert Engineering Co. submitted the apparent low, responsive, responsible bid in the amount of $1,519,287.00.
