BACKGROUND
Gaston County has designated the equipment, furniture, and miscellaneous items on the attached Surplus Property List to be in poor condition, uneconomical for continued use, and as having met the established surplus criteria. This Resolution formally declares the inventory listed as surplus and authorizes the County Manager, or her designee, to enter into an agreement with a public auctioneer to conduct a public auction, with payment of the auctioneer to come from sales proceeds.
