Increase Federal Grant Revenue by $133,469 and appropriate $133,469 into project accounts.

BACKGROUND

The Gaston County Department of Health and Human Services - Public Health Division received Federal Grant funds from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention passed through Cabarrus Health Alliance.  The Racial and Ethnic Approaches to Community Health (REACH) grant will be used to address nutrition, physical activity, tobacco control and prevention, and adult immunizations in Hispanic and Black populations.  The funds will be used for program related expenses. These are Non-County funds.
